Annapurna initiative

As a part of community outreach programme and the “ Annapurna initiative”, the  teachers of DAV Public School, New Panvel visited Param Shantidham Vrudhashram ( Old age home) Old age home situated at  Taloja. The  Trust has been running old age home for destitute  elderly and Balgram orphanage, situated at Khanda colony.The  second time visit to the old age home  was a delightful  experience as D. A. V Public School, New Panvel believes in spreading joy and relentlessly extending the helping hand. The D. A. V Public School staff distributed the adequate amount of grocery and eatables needed for the better health of 35 inmates of Ashram. Joyful faces of the inmates and the cheerful faces of children of Balgram Orphanage after receiving the abundant biscuits and food grains vindicate the phenomenal success of “Annapurna Initiative”.

The generosity of parents and their cooperation towards this “Annapurna Initiative” is exceedingly appreciable. D. A. V Public School, New Panvel will continue this community outreach programme by evincing this kind gesture to the needs of every nook and cranny.
