Celebration of National Mathematics Day

To celebrate National Mathematics Day and honour the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, On 23rd December 2024, students from different grades showcased their creativity through a variety of engaging activities. The students of Std VI worked on creating intricate doodle designs using mathematical objects, symbols, and diagrams, blending art with geometry. Meanwhile, the Std VII students focused on design-making through the ancient Chinese puzzle, Tangram, experimenting with different shapes to form new and interesting patterns. The younger students from Std III to V embraced their imagination by making collages, models, and drawings using 2D shapes, exploring the beauty and versatility of basic geometric forms. These activities not only fostered artistic expression but also encouraged a deeper understanding of mathematics through hands-on learning.
