Constitution Day Celebration

On 26th November 2024, DAV Public School, New Panvel, enthusiastically celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) to commemorate 75 years of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
The event began with a special assembly where students and staff collectively recited the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their dedication to its ideals. A teacher then delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the relevance of the Constitution in contemporary India and the visionary contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the Constituent Assembly in shaping the nation's governance.
The celebration saw active participation from students of Classes VI to IX, with a total of 1,639 students involved in various activities. These included a poster-making competition, a quiz on constitutional knowledge, and a rangoli activity that creatively depicted national symbols and the core values of the Constitution. These activities not only deepened students' understanding of constitutional principles but also encouraged creativity, teamwork, and a sense of national pride.
The program concluded with reflections on the fundamental ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, inspiring everyone present to strive towards upholding these values as responsible citizens of India. The event successfully instilled a deeper respect for the Constitution among the participants, making it a memorable and educational experience.
