On October 18th and 19th, 2024, DAV Public School in New Panvel celebrated the birthday of Mahatma Anand Swamiji with great enthusiasm and reverence. The festivities began with a special assembly, where students gathered to honor the legacy of this esteemed spiritual leader. A standout moment was a heartfelt speech by Ms. Gargi from Class VII, who eloquently discussed Swamiji's teachings on peace, education, and social harmony, inspiring her peers with the relevance of his philosophy in today's world. Following the speech, students showcased their talents in a cultural program featuring group songs that celebrated unity and devotion, which received enthusiastic applause. The second day focused on spirituality, highlighted by a Havan (sacred fire ceremony) attended by students, and teachers. Guided by the school’s spiritual leader, participants actively engaged in chanting mantras and offering prayers, fostering a sense of community and respect for tradition.
