DAV Public School, New Panvel is hosting DAV National Sports-Zonal Level Tournaments 2024-25(Maharashtra and Gujarat Zone) from 2^nd to 4^th September 2024

Day-1

The program started with the inaugural ceremony on 2^nd September 2024 with great enthusiasm and energy. It began with the welcome of the guest by NCC students. The glorious morning witnessed an array of special guest Mr. Tejas Karle, a celebrated alumina of DAV Public School, New Panvel graced the occasion as a Chief guest, Sir is an International 10-meter Air Riffle Shooter has bagged many National and International competitions, along with all the other dignitaries, Ms. Seema Maindiratta (School Manager), Ms. Simmi Juneja (ARO Zone C), Ms. Hema Nair( Principal DAV International School, Mulund) Ms. Mukta Baurai (Principal DAV Public School, Nerul) and Ms. Suman Pradhan(Principal DAV Public School, Airoli) were the eminent guests along with Mr. Sumanth Ghosh (Principal DAV Public School, New Panvel).  There was an inspirational speech by Ms. Simmi Juneja (ARO Zone C).   Chief Guest hoisted the flag and lit the flame torch which was handed over by the National Level achievers.

Students of DAV Public School, New Panvel performed a beautiful fusion of Zumba and Yoga.

The highlight of the ceremony was the oath ceremony which inspired the students to play on the name and the glory of sportsman spirit. The chief guest delivered an inspiring speech. In his address, he motivated the young athletes, encouraged them to perform to the best of their abilities and to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship. He then officially declared the DAV National Sports-Zonal Level Meet 2024-25 open, setting the stage for an exciting day of sports. The game of Volleyball was kick started by the service of Ms. Simmi Juneja (ARO Zone C), Ms. Seema Maindiratta (School Manager) and Mr. Sumanth Ghosh (Principal DAV Public School, New Panvel) this infused a feeling of enthusiasm in the students. Kabbadi and Volleyball were held at DAV Public School, New Panvel. Students participated in games like Swimming, Shooting, Football, Basketball, Chess, Taekwondo, Boxing, Wrestling, Badminton,chess which were held at various venues.

Day 2- Students participated in games like  Vollyball, Handball, Archery, Football, Karate and Table Tennis which were held at various venues.

Day 3- Students participated in games like  Athletics and Skating which were held at various venues.
