Leaders are not born but are made by their experience in life. To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students, a school council is formed.

The Investiture ceremony of DAV Public School, New Panvel was held on Wednesday, 21^st of August 2024 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The ceremony was administered and presided over by honorable Principal Sumanth Ghosh sir and Senior secondary supervisory head Sreedevi Pillai madam.

The ceremony commenced with welcoming Sir for the event. The lamp lighting was followed by Gayatri Mantra and DAV Anthem.  The ceremony began with the council members marching towards the stage one after the other. Ujjain House, Captains and their deputies were conferred with their badges by the principal along with the House flag and the House placard. The same was followed for Nalanda, Takshashila and Vikramshila Houses. Moving ahead the Cultural Secretaries marched towards the stage to receive the badge and flag followed by the Sports Captain. Head Girl, Anushka Amrut Anakal and the Head Boy, Shrishant Suresh Kharat along with the Deputy Head Girl, Nupur Mukul Bhat and Deputy Head Boy, Mrunmay Mhatre marched proudly as they received their badges. School captain, Arya Ravindra Deshmukh then marched to receive her badge and along with the school flag.

The newly appointed, School captain along with other council members took the oath to hold the school vision, to be impartial, honest in discharging duties and maintain the legacy of the school with high esteem.

Honourable Principal sir, in his address to the council and the class monitors motivated and encouraged the students to be role models and work for the development of the school as a team. He also assured his support to student council for its smooth functioning. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
