“Story telling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world “.

On Monday, 23 July 2024 DAV Public School, New Panvel organised Story Telling Competition for the students of std VI – VIII to strengthen English speaking skills. The competition aimed at achieving proficiency in speaking English, while instilling values. Each participant narrated a theme based story from provided topics, in a time bound manner. keeping in mind all the parameters of the competition, they came up with clarity and used variety of props to construct highly creative & expressive stories surfacing out different values of life. Participants were adjudged on the basis of fluency, creativity, coherence and expression. In addition to this, shortlisted students were promised to offer an opportunity to participate at regional level. Students enjoyed the event with zeal & left an indelible impression on the listeners.

Overall, the competition was an enriching experience. Thus, the purpose of conducting competition was not only achieved but also cherished by everyone.
