D.A.V. Public School, New Panvel, organised a Poster Making Activity on the theme “Say No to Drugs” under the Nasha Mukti Abhiyan on 16 October 2026. Students of Classes VI to X participated enthusiastically, expressing their creativity and social awareness through colourful and thought-provoking posters.

The activity aimed to sensitise students to the harmful effects of drug abuse and promote a healthy lifestyle. Through meaningful illustrations, creative lettering and impactful slogans such as “Choose Life, Not Drugs!” and “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life,” students conveyed a powerful message about the importance of making healthy choices.

The posters highlighted the harmful consequences of substance abuse and encouraged everyone to contribute towards building a drug-free society. The best entries were displayed on the school display board to inspire other students and reinforce the message: “Small Steps Today… A Drug-Free Tomorrow!”

The Principal and teachers appreciated the students’ enthusiastic participation, creativity and commitment to spreading awareness.

The activity was a meaningful initiative towards achieving the objectives of the Nasha Mukti Abhiyan and nurturing responsible, health-conscious citizens.
