DAV Public School, New Panvel conducted its Investiture Ceremony on 1st August 2026 with great enthusiasm and dignity in the school multipurpose hall. The ceremony aimed to nurture leadership qualities, responsibility, and commitment among the newly elected student council members. The event was presided over by the Hon'ble Principal, Mr. Sumanth Ghosh, in the presence of the Senior Secondary Supervisory Heads, teachers, and House Masters.

The programme began with the ceremonial welcome of the Principal, followed by the lighting of the lamp, the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, and the DAV Anthem. The newly elected council members then marched onto the stage with pride.

The investiture commenced with the leaders of Takshashila House, followed by Nalanda, Ujjain, and Vikramshila Houses. House Captains and Deputy Captains were conferred with badges, while the Boy Captains received the House Flags and the Girl Captains the House Placards. The Cultural Secretaries, Sports Captains, Head Girl, Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, and School Captain were also invested with badges and their respective responsibilities.

The council members took the oath to uphold the school's motto, perform their duties with honesty and impartiality, and preserve the institution's legacy. Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Sumanth Ghosh congratulated the student leaders and urged them to lead with integrity, dedication, and teamwork. He also encouraged them to report issues related to campus cleanliness, drinking water, discipline, and other concerns to ensure the smooth functioning of the school.

The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and optimism, marking the beginning of a new chapter of responsible student leadership dedicated to serving the school with sincerity and excellence.
