D.A.V. Public School, New Panvel celebrated Guru Purnima with great devotion and enthusiasm during the assembly. The programme began with a soulful prayer, followed by an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of teachers and gurus in shaping our lives. Students presented a graceful dance, melodious songs, a captivating tabla performance, and a meaningful mono act, making the celebration memorable.

On this auspicious occasion, our little learners also honoured their first gurus—their parents and teachers—by applying tilak, offering flowers and performing Charan Pranam to seek their blessings. The celebration beautifully reflected the values of gratitude, respect, and reverence for all those who guide us on the path of knowledge and wisdom.
