On May 1, 2026, Maharashtra Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at D.A.V. Public School, Panvel, in collaboration with the Arya Yuva Samaj. The program commenced at 8:00 AM with a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere.

The event began with a warm and disciplined welcome by the school’s NCC cadets, who greeted the guests and attendees with great zeal. This was followed by the flag-hoisting ceremony conducted by the Chief Guest and the School Principal. The gathering then stood in unison to sing the National Anthem, expressing their deep sense of patriotism.

The celebration continued with a soulful rendition of the ‘Maharashtra Geet’ by the teachers, which was later joined by the entire student body, creating a harmonious and spirited environment. The patriotic fervor was further elevated by the collective participation of students and staff.

A highlight of the program was the inspiring speech delivered by Mr. Sandesh, who motivated the students while paying tribute to Maharashtra’s glorious history, rich cultural heritage, and great personalities. The School Principal also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the values of discipline, dedication, patriotism, and national pride.

The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers. The celebration left a lasting impression on everyone present, making it a truly inspiring and memorable occasion.
