On 27^th June 2024, DAV Public School, New Panvel celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm by organising an activity of planting a sapling and taking care of it. The students from Grades VI- VIII actively participated by planting over 50 saplings of various native species and encouraged to look after it until it grew up. This was followed by bringing the printout of the planted sapling as a reflection of their experience. Along with this, the students composed eye catching poster and slogan with great dedication emphasising the theme of environmental conservation, spreading awareness and sustainable practices. The creativity and innovation displayed by the students was commendable.
