Swachh Bharat Diwas – “Swachhotsav 2025"

As per the directives of 1 Maharashtra Naval Unit NCC, DAV Public School, New Panvel, observed Swachh Bharat Diwas – Swachhotsav 2025 under the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign. A series of meaningful activities were conducted to spread the message of cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental conservation.

Highlights of the Campaign

• Creative Competitions: Poster making, waste-to-art activities showcased students’ innovative ideas on cleanliness and waste management.
• Awareness Drives: NCC Cadets organised rallies and street awareness programmes to sensitise the community about environmental protection.
• Cleanliness Drives: Extensive clean-up activities were undertaken within the school campus and surrounding public spaces.
• Community Engagement: Local residents, volunteers and NGOs actively participated in awareness and sensitisation campaigns.

Impact

The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, cadets and community members. It successfully instilled values of social responsibility, environmental awareness and the importance of maintaining a clean and green India.
