“ILLUMINATE YOUR PATH WITH THE WISDOM OF A GURU”

 

Guru Purnima was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm on 18 th July at D.A.V. Public School, New Panvel; marking a special day dedicated to honoring and expressing gratitude towards our revered Gurus. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and cultural vibrance as students and teachers came together to pay homage to the guiding lights of knowledge and wisdom.

 

The Secondary Section 6 th -12 th celebration began with an invocation, setting a spiritual tone for the day. Students from different grades showcased their talents through a variety of performances. A heart-touching mono act captured the significance of the Guru in a student’s life, leaving the audience inspired. The stage then came alive with a graceful Bharatanatyam classical dance, beautifully depicting the essence of devotion and respect. Adding to the charm of the event, Grade 8 students presented a soulful group song, which resonated with the audience and evoked feelings of deep gratitude.

 

Grades 1 to 5 program began with primary students visiting Principal Sir and offering a bouquet of flowers as a mark of respect on this auspicious occasion. They participated enthusiastically, presenting cultural programs that reflected their respect and admiration for their teachers. Their vibrant performances and innocent expressions added a special charm to the day. The event concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of respect for the Guru-shishya tradition. The celebration was indeed a heartfelt tribute, successfully instilling the values of gratitude, respect, and devotion in the young minds.
