“Don’t get Tricked, Be Cyber-Slick!”

To raise awareness about the growing concerns of online safety, DAV Public School, New Panvel conducted a three-day session on ‘Understanding Cyber Crimes and Laws’ from 2nd to 4th July 2025 for the students of Std VIII to XII in the School Multi-Purpose Hall. The resource person for the session was the school alumnus Advocate Jagrut Manohar Patil, a specialist in Cyber Law. Through real-life examples and engaging discussions, he explained various types of cybercrimes, their legal consequences, and the precautions students must take while using digital platforms. He also emphasized the importance of limiting screen time and encouraged students to focus more on reading and self-learning. The session was highly informative, interactive, and thought-provoking, helping students understand the significance of responsible digital behaviour. It concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude for the enriching experience.
