Poetry Recitation Competition on Father's Day

To celebrate the profound role of fathers in our lives, D.A.V. Public School, New Panvel organized Poetry Recitation Competitions for Classes IX to XII on 27th June 2025 (Friday) during school hours. The event, organized by the C.C.A. team, encouraged students to express their heartfelt emotions through self-composed poems under the central theme ‘FATHER’.

For Classes IX and X, the recitation was held in Hindi and English, centered around the theme “तू है तो मुझे फिर और क्या चाहिए”. Students enthusiastically presented their original poems with emotional depth and creative flair, reflecting immense love and respect for fathers. Their powerful words and passionate delivery captivated the audience.

For Classes XI and XII, an Inter-House Self-Composed Poem Recitation Competition was conducted during the 5th and 6th periods. With the theme ‘FATHER – to project Bhavpurna Abhivyakti’ and the learning objective ‘Originality is my style’, a total of 18 participants from four houses showcased their talent. Each poem carried strong emotional appeal and was recited with sincerity, touching the hearts of all present.

These competitions successfully instilled in students a deeper love and gratitude for their fathers, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
